## Classify your chats by topic, identify your customers and filter your conversations faster

Tags are categories that help you classify your chats by topics. With them, your company will identify customers faster, filter conversations and track your communication channels more accurately.

## How do B2Chat Tags work?

### Getting started with Tags is very easy

## Just follow these steps:

### Step 1

**Step 1**: Select the department where you want to include the new tag and you will see a list of all previously created tags.

### Step 2

**Step 2:** Click on the Create Tag button on the right side of your screen.

### Step 3

**Step 3**: Choose the name, color and icon and before finishing don’t forget to activate your new tag.

## Use cases

### Tags adapt to your business

If your company is a clothing brand that uses WhatsApp as a sales channel, you can create tags such as: “Sales”, “Changes”, “Suppliers” or any other topic associated with the continuous processes that your employees face every day.

Now, if your company belongs to the health sector you can create tags for categories such as: “Appointment assignment”, “First time consultations”, “Cancellations” or assign specific tags by specialty or doctors.
