You'll be able to use the B2Chat's Chatbot API in two scenarios: to integrate a Chatbot developed by your company or to integrate your account to WhatsApp API.

To integrate the API with a chatbot your company is already using, the first thing you need is a webhook, that is, an “anchor” URL whose purpose is to receive messages from agents and deliver them to your chatbot, and to obtain it you must request support from a developer at your company. Next, set up your Webhook to the B2Chat API and you’re ready to go.

Chatbots integration

An user enters the website and starts a conversation with the chatbot.
The Chatbot sends the conversation to B2Chat’s Chatbot API.
B2Chat’s Chatbot API processes the message and sends it to the console.
The console assigns an agent to respond to the message.
The agent’s response is sent from the console to B2Chat’s Chatbot API, which in turn tells the Chatbot webhook that a conversation has started.
B2Chat’s Chatbot API returns the response from the B2Chat agent to the webhook.
The Chatbot processes the message and responds to the user with the response sent by the agent.

WhatsApp API integration

The user starts a conversation on WhatsApp by clicking on a widget, link or directly in the app.
The conversation is managed by the API of the BSP (Business Solution Provider) who sends the message to the WhatsApp Chatbot.
The WhatsApp Chatbot sends the chat to B2Chat’s Chatbot API.
B2Chat’s Chatbot API processes the message and sends it to the console.
The console assigns an agent to respond to the message.
The agent’s response is sent from the console to B2Chat’s Chatbot API and this, in turn, tells the WhatsApp Chatbot that a conversation has started.
The WhatsApp Chatbot processes the response and sends it to the BSP API.
The BSP API sends the message to the user.
